  18. <p>    Two months after her husband Nelson Mandela, president of the
  19. African National Congress, announced their separation, Winnie
  20. Mandela has had more bad news. The a.n.c. Women's League ousted
  21. the executive committee of the Johannesburg branch she headed,
  22. effectively dismissing her. South African newspapers also
  23. report the a.n.c. is looking into the loss of $130,000 from a
  24. department she directed until her resignation in April. The
  25. a.n.c. denied the story -- just as it had denied that the
  26. Mandelas were separating.
